Eccoci finalmente al primo prototipo della versione in kit del VentolONE che stiamo realizzando. Le pale sono realizzate per ora in schiuma poliuretanica, a partire da pannelli isolanti tipici dell’edilizia. Il profilo utilizzato è un NACA 4416 perchè qui se ne dice un gran bene. Le pale sono lunghe complessivamente 2m ciascuna, il diametro 1,5m. Palo e generatore nella foto assolutamente provvisori, buoni per reggere la turbina.

Here we are, finally, with the first prototype for our wind turbine kit.Obviously a work in progress!

Blades are made with hot wire cutting technique around a NACA4416 profile because of all those good things about it we read here. Every blade is 2m long, diameter 1,5m. Pole and generator in the picture are just for holding the turbine for a while, waiting for a better generator.
