In questo giugno climatologicamente strano per la provincia di Cuneo abbiamo modo di testare a fondo il VentolONE 3.0, con un bel temporale pieno d’acqua e vento! L’anemometro non è ancora attivo, per cui facendo ricorso un po’ all’esperienza ci pare di poter dire che le raffiche che si sono presentate dovrebbero essere state dell’ordine di 10-12 m/s (si tenga conto che la turbina è posizionata vicino a due tetti). Dal video inoltre emerge una velocità massima di rotazione pari, all’incirca, a 120 giri/min. Se così fosse saremmo a cavallo, perchè la turbina lavorerebbe effettivamente parzialmente a portanza (TSR=1,3) come atteso!
Nei giorni a venire installeremo la strumentazione che stiamo mettendo a punto: per ora godiamoci il video!

This is a strange June for us, so much rain and wind and foggy days! but…this is useful to test the VentolONE! As you can see in the above video, the turbine and the tower are solid even if the wind is hard: we didn’t measured by now, but past experiences suggest us a probable 10-12 m/s wind. This would be very very nice because it would mean turbine is working (partially) in a lifting way, as expected! As soon as possibile we will install all the measuring system to test more accurately the VentolONE!

Ci siamo quasi, la torre è quasi pronta, ora si tratta di montare il castello sopra il traliccio (che si vede in fondo, nella foto)!
